Post 19 along with Unit 19 Auxiliary is hosting a Flea Market Fundraiser Saturday August 15th from 9-5. The place will be the Veterans Park behind City Hall, can drive through Family Dollar parking lot to get there, go around city hall or go on the alleyway behind Murdoch's . Anyone who want to have a table and sell their things, sign up for a spot scan barcode on the flyer or go to this link https://forms.gle/D2LkY5M6Cb2r7ckU9.

100% of what the American Legion sells goes to the American Legion.
We also plan on selling hot dogs/brauts chips and drinks for $5.00. Come for the Comraderies and a visit. We will have tables and chairs set out to relax and enjoy the day. Look forward to seeing you there. Please share this information with any one who may be interested in having a table to sell their stuff (they keep all the money for what they sell), support vendors or just enjoy a meal.

The Riverton Raiders Post 19 baseball team hosted the 2026 Class B State Championship at the Raiders- Roy Peck Field July 17- 20 2026 in Riverton Wyoming. American Legion Riverton Post 19 Presented the Colors to kick off the event.
Post members who participated; Vice Commander Warren Hess, 2nd Vice Commander Charles Arndt, Trustee 3 Year Bret Thompson (presenting Wyoming Flag) and Scott Barrett (Presenting the American Flag).

It has been a very busy week. I want to take some time to recognize many who made the 250th 4th of July Celebration Possible.

Thank you Fremont Motors for placing/picking the flags out/up for the 4th Of July Avenue of Flags!!!

Thank you High Plains Power for donating the 30 foot flatbed trailer for the Veteran's organizations to decorate for the parade!!
Thank you also for providing a driver for our Veteran Float!!

Thank you Morgan for donating the straw bales for the Veterans and Auxiliary members to sit on.

Thanks to all those who came and helped decorate/tear down the float.
Thanks Reach Foundation for allowing us to use your parking lot to decorate/undecorate it.
Thank you Chamber of Commerce for the 4th of July Parade here in Riverton.

We are in desperate need to acquire straw bales for Veteran's and Auxiliary members to sit on the Veterans Float in the Riverton 4th of July Parade. If anyone knows where we can get some either loaned for the parade or we can buy them for a reasonable price. Please contact me at 851-7280
