Oquirrh Mountain Paranormal Investigators is based in Riverton Utah and serves the intermountain west. At OMPI we use state of the art equipment, along with equipment developed by OMPI and a scientific approach to help home or business owners who feel they are experiencing paranormal activity. If you would like OMPI to investigate your home or business or if you

just have questions please contact us and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. If you do not want an investigation conducted but you have questions about possible paranormal activity you or your family may be experiencing, or if you simply have a general question we are available to respond to any concerns you or your family may have. On our information page you will find a description of the different types of hauntings, and how to recognize them. Our client's privacy is very important to us; we never post or publish any information regarding our investigations without the written consent of our clients,
this privacy policy prevents our clients from being inundated with calls and visits requesting permission to perform more investigations. We try to help our clients using our experiences and the most recent information available to date.

The majority of the paranormal experiences we hear about are frightening or negative. Does anyone have any positive experiences they would like to share? If so, leave it in the comments below.

I'll start.

A few years ago on my birthday, about a month after my father passed away, I was getting ready for work. I was feeling depressed, and was having an internal monolog about my dad not being around for my birthday, which was furthering my depressed feelings. I was staring down my hallway, not wanting to get up and get on with the day, when I saw the light turn on and off 5 or 6 times in succession. I actually watched and heard the switch move up and down. I was flooded with a happy warm feeling and the depression melted away. I feel like it was my dad telling my "Happy birthday!" one last time and "Everything is going to be okay.".
