Last week, Mimi's Pantry 4 Kids held their annual Beach Towel Giveaway. We provided 166 kids in the Northland with a new beach towel, pool toy, googles, sunglasses, water bottle, cooling towel, and sunscreen.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped set up and take down this event, check families in, shop with kids and their families, and much more.

Also, thank you to The Giving Branch for providing a grant to help supplement the cost, and to Home State Health, which donated all of the sunscreen. We could not have done it without all of you!

Mimi's Pantry 4 Kids hosted a Flower Planting class last week. The kids decorated a flower pot, helped design our front porch planters, and took home a packet of seeds to plant.

Thank you to all of the families who participated, and the volunteers who donated their time, purchased flowers, seeds, and planters. 🌺

This past week we celebrated Earth Day at Mimi's Pantry 4 Kids with the Zoomobile and Earth Day Fun!

The kids learned about how different animals adapt and ways to do our part to take care of our world. They made seed bombs, bird feeders. The kids were given a nature journal and kit that included a magnifying glass, pencils and colored pencils, in order to draw and write about what they observe in nature.

We had so much fun and learned a lot along the way!
