✨ Community Spotlight: Jacob Pratt State Farm ✨

We are so grateful to the Jacob Pratt State Farm team for recently spending time volunteering at Mimi’s Pantry! ❤️

Our relationship with the Pratt team began last year when they first connected with us through Mimi’s Pantry 4 Kids. We were thrilled to welcome them back and continue building on that connection through their recent volunteer experience at the pantry.

What makes their support especially meaningful is their genuine commitment to giving back. The Pratt team makes a concerted effort to volunteer in their community every month, choosing to invest their time and talents in organizations that are making a difference.

During their visit to Mimi’s Pantry, their team jumped right in by helping community members shop and creating a welcoming experience for the families we serve.

We believe strong communities are built when local businesses choose to show up, lend a hand, and invest in the people around them. The Pratt team is a wonderful example of that commitment in action. 💚

🐞🌿 Discovering Nature at Mimi’s!

A big thank you to for bringing the Discover Nature program to Mimi’s Pantry! 💚

Our kids had a fantastic time getting up close with the natural world as they learned all about insects and their body parts, created drawings of their very own insects, and then headed outside with nets to catch and observe live insects! 🐞🦋

It was such a fun, hands-on way to encourage curiosity, explore nature, and learn something new. And we couldn’t end the day without showing off our own Growing Dome! 🌱 Of course, the worm farm was a must-see! 🪱😉

🩺 Caring Beyond the Clinic 💙

A big thank you to Research College of Nursing for continuing to bring future healthcare professionals into the community and sending a new group of nursing students to Mimi’s Pantry!

During their visit, these students had the opportunity to serve alongside our pantry team and provide free blood pressure screenings to our pantry guests. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with community members while learning firsthand about the many factors that contribute to overall health and well-being.

At Mimi’s Pantry, we believe that food security and healthcare are deeply connected. Access to nutritious food, preventative health resources, and compassionate support all play an important role in helping families live healthier lives.

We are grateful for the energy, compassion, and professionalism these students brought to Mimi’s Pantry and for the continued partnership with Research College of Nursing. We love seeing the next generation of nurses recognize that caring for patients extends beyond the walls of a hospital or clinic. 💙🩺
