Say hello to Wildland Fire Management, and you can earn it right now at the 2026 National Jamboree. Formerly a Test Lab badge, this cool badge has evolved to a full merit badge!

Wildfire shapes the American landscape. It threatens homes and fills our skies with smoke, and it also clears the way for forests to come back stronger. Scouts earning this badge learn both sides, plus how communities protect themselves and what a career on a fire crew actually looks like.

Head to the merit badge area at the Nat Jamboree and be among the first Scouts in the country to earn it.
