EDIT: This event is happening March 15, THIS SUNDAY.

Windy weather has knocked a lot of avocados off the trees, so weโ€™re organizing a community Avocado Rescue Day to gather the fallen fruit and make sure it doesnโ€™t go to waste.

Weโ€™ll be visiting a local property to collect avocados that have fallen from the trees. All fruit gathered will be donated to local food pantries, helping get fresh food to people in our community.
Youโ€™re also welcome to take a few avocados home for yourself!

What to know:

๐Ÿฅ‘ Help collect fallen avocados from the orchard
๐Ÿ› Plastic bags will be provided for collecting fruit
๐Ÿค Most of the harvest will go to local food pantries
โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT: No bathrooms are available on-site so please plan ahead
๐Ÿ“ All volunteers must complete the volunteer waiver before the event (link in bio)

Windy weather has knocked a lot of avocados off the trees, so weโ€™re organizing a community Avocado Rescue Day to gather the fallen fruit and make sure it doesnโ€™t go to waste.

Gimme gimme gimme another chance to collect fruit for a great cause!

We have two more events this season so donโ€™t miss out. Both happening at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands.

JOIN US THIS SATURDAY! Register by filling out the form in our bio. Make sure to select โ€œMarch 7, 2026โ€ to confirm your registration for this Saturday!

Canโ€™t wait to see you there!

This event is for all ages.
We will be picking fruit directly from trees, filling up crates, and then dropping off the crates at the pick up location. At the end of the event, our partner local food pantries will arrive to pick up everything thatโ€™s been collected. And! Definitely make sure to take home some fresh oranges for yourself!! ๐ŸŠ
