UCR Citizens University Committee - CUC

UCR Citizens University Committee - CUC The objective of the Citizens University Committee (CUC) is to assist the University of California, Riverside in development and community relations.

The UCR campus has a profound economic and cultural impact on the inland region with scholarly and scientific research that drives California’s economic engine, creates new opportunities for cultural and artistic expression, and educates the citizens of California. Now in our 65th year, The Citizens University Committee (CUC) provides a means for you to tap into this vibrant energy! We host dynami

c monthly breakfast meetings which feature the latest cutting - edge research and ideas UCR has to offer. The CUC provides a unique and fun link between the campus and the community. Our breakfasts also feature elected officials, campus and community updates, and a great opportunity to network and meet new people. As the organization that fought to bring a UC campus to Riverside over six decades ago, the CUC continues to advocate for UCR, most recently in the effort to fund the UCR School of Medicine. We also support deserving UCR students through our scholarship fund and the newly created Judge John Gabbert/CUC Endowed Scholarship Fund. Your membership fees and participation keep CUC continuing year after year. Please consider becoming a member and joining us at our monthly breakfasts. As an incentive, we are offering one guest pass for you to bring a friend to a breakfast meeting with every paid membership. Thank you very much for your continued support!
