Out in the I.E. has been extended and will remain on view through July 10!! This exhibition honors the LGBTQ+ community’s creativity, activism, care, and pride across Riverside & San Bernardino counties. We invite you to visit, reflect, and connect with these stories and experiences. ✨

Join us on Sunday, June 28, from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM as CRIISC presents a FREE zine workshop in collaboration with Frankie Guttierrez. Using copies of exhibition materials, participants will reimagine and reassemble the moments that resonated with them most ~ cutting, pasting, and remixing them into a zine of their own creation.✨☺️

We are excited to be partnering with Cellar Door Books for their Community in Conversation series where we will be discussing Marla A. Ramírez's pivotal book Banished Citizens: A History of the Mexican American Women Who Endured Repatriation. Moderated by co-author of the Mexican American Baseball in the South Bay, Ron Gonzales, join us Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM for a conversation about the 1930s Mexican repatriation.🙌✨

Even if the repatriation didn't affect you or your family directly, we see the effects it's had on our communities and current administrative policies and we want to encourage the community to join together for a discussion!🌟

Haven't read the book? 🤔 Here's your chance to read it! Cellar Door Books will be hosting two meetings about the book to give folks options to partake in the conversation. 📚✨The first opportunity is on Saturday, June 13th at 5:00pm. And the second is on Tuesday, June 23rd at 1:00pm for those who prefer daytime events. Feel free to come to either meeting, or join in both conversations!📖✨
