A message from Jen with RNOW...On December 17 at 6:30 pm, the JPA will vote on a disastrous plan to increase cargo flights at the March Air Force Base in the service of warehouses. The Meridian D-1 Gateway Aviation project will increase noise and air pollution and jeopardize the safety of our neighborhoods. We need to show up en masse if we hope to stop it.

RRR Hosts Prop 50 Debate

The RRR meeting on Wednesday October 15th, was well attended with all seats filled and residents listening intently to our two presenters, Jason Hunter and Clarissa Cervantes.

This was the first time some of the equipment was used to video tape, so you will note a time elapse between our two speakers; I have indicated below the times our speakers started for your convenience.

Both speakers were compelling in their respective arguments and were well received by those in attendance.

Clarrisa Cervantes and Jason Hunter give opposing arguments for the upcoming Prop 50 on the ballot in November.
