It is with profound sadness and a very heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander, Honorable Willie G. Gauff Sr., 33°.
After courageously battling cancer for several years, he has now laid down the working tools of life and entered eternal rest.
To all who knew him, it was evident that Masonry was not simply something he practiced, it was a part of who he was. For 30 years, he founded, led, nurtured, and faithfully served the Universal Supreme Council with unwavering dedication, vision, and commitment. He gave his heart, his time, his wisdom, and his strength to the Craft and to all those whose lives he touched. He truly gave all he had and left it on the field.
His leadership, mentorship, and devotion have left an indelible mark on the Universal Supreme Council, its affiliated departments, and the countless Brothers, Sisters, and friends who were blessed to know him. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life of service, sacrifice, and excellence.
Please join us in lifting his family, loved ones, and all who are grieving in prayer during this difficult time. May God grant them comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy will continue to live on in our hearts, in the work he built, and in the generations he inspired. His contributions will never be forgotten, and his memory will forever remain a guiding light within the Universal Supreme Council and beyond.
Rest well, Honorable Sir. Your labor is complete, and your legacy endures.
With love, respect, and heartfelt condolences to all.
