Join us for the opening of Metafloric, a two-artist exhibition featuring the work of Bill Albertini and ellenwiener

Metafloric explores the unexpected connections between nature, science, myth, fantasy, and the passage of time. Albertini and Wiener each transform familiar materials and forms through distinct artistic processes, creating works that blur the boundaries between the natural and the manufactured, the ordinary and the otherworldly.

Together, their work invites us to look more closely at the world around us and reconsider what might exist just beyond the boundaries of the familiar.

The exhibition opens September 12 at the Andy Tarshis Fine Art Gallery at East End Arts in Riverhead, NY, with an opening reception from 4–7 PM.

We’ve been working hard to make tonight’s Summer SoirĂ©e one of the most special nights of 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Strong’s Marina.

Today is the day! The East End Arts Summer SoirĂ©e is finally here. If you’re joining us tonight, take a quick look through our expanded FAQ below for everything you need to know before you arrive. We’re looking forward to an evening of art, community, good company, and celebrating the work of East End Arts. See you tonight!

Summer Soirée: Morning-Of FAQs
What time should I arrive?
6 PM! The SoirĂ©e runs from 6–9 PM, so come ready to enjoy the evening from the start.

Where is the Summer Soirée?
Strong’s Water Club & Marina — our beautiful waterfront setting for an evening celebrating East End Arts and our community.

Will there be food & drinks?
Yes! Come hungry and thirsty. We’ll have food, drinks, and plenty of summer soirĂ©e spirit.

Where should I park?
Parking is available at and around Strong’s Water Club & Marina. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time to park and check in.

What should I wear?
Think festive, polished, and comfortable enough to enjoy an evening by the water.

Do I need my ticket?
Yes! Have your ticket or confirmation ready when you arrive for check-in. There are still a few available online!

What’s happening during the evening?
We’ll celebrate East End Arts and the people who make the arts thrive on the East End, including a special celebration of the 2026 Linda Rie Cohen Rising Star Award, with a performance alongside East End Arts Head of Music Chris Jones.

What does my ticket support?
The arts on the East End! Proceeds support East End Arts’ education, exhibitions, performances, scholarships, and community programs.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The SoirĂ©e takes place at Strong’s Water Club & Marina, with a beautiful waterfront setting. Come prepared for a summer evening by the water.

We’re getting ready for our annual Summer SoirĂ©e at Strong's Water Club and Marina and we’d love to celebrate with you.

Come enjoy a summer evening by the water with live music, dancing, food, drinks, live art, and plenty of good company — all in support of the arts and the artists, students, educators, and programs that make our community so special. It’s a night to come together, have some fun, and celebrate creativity on the East End.

East End Arts Council is proud to present “Metafloric,” an exhibition bringing together the work of Bill Albertini and ellenwiener - opening September 12 at the Andy Tarshis Fine Art Gallery.

Bill Albertini uses digital modeling and 3-D printing to transform industrial forms into strange, organic structures. Ellen Wiener works through meticulous handwork, creating paintings, prints, and sculptural collages from familiar materials. What connects them is a shared curiosity about the world around us-and a way of making the ordinary feel unfamiliar.

Opening reception: September 12, 4–7 PM
