The tanks were glowing, the raffle excitement was building, and everywhere we looked, there was something to discover. 🪸💙 Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Long Island Reef Association Frag Swap such a wonderful day—our generous sponsors ESV for powering our tanks and Reef Nutrition for sponsoring the ice cream 🍦🎟️ and adding a little extra sweetness to the day. A ton of gratitude to all our wet and dry vendors, every attendee, and the volunteers and board members who helped bring it all together.
From beautiful coral and livestock to equipment, supplies and conversations with the people behind the brands, our vendors gave us so much to explore. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, answering questions, and helping reef keepers at every stage feel welcome.
And there was plenty of fun beyond the tanks: kids following clues on the scavenger hunt, stopping by Diverman’s booth, families enjoying ice cream, cookies between stops, and everyone hoping to hear their number called at the raffles!
Some of our favorite moments were the simplest—old friends catching up, someone finding a coral they’d been searching for, and kids getting their first close look at the incredible life in a reef tank. Whether you came to shop, learn, support a friend, or spend the day with your family, thank you for being part of it. Your curiosity, enthusiasm, and support are what make this community so special.
