A lot of people think that if you're Christian you need to be this perfect little angel but that isn't it at all. Christianity isn't about perfect people listening to a perfect God. It's about imperfect people accepting their imperfections and following the God who can help them to overcome themselves. People will assume that there's no way you can relate to them because you're Christian, but really you can relate to them more than anyone knows. You've been hurt, despised, rejected, and hated just like they have. We aren't any different than someone who isn't Christian. Our hope just comes from a different source.
