# DIFFERENT BUS STOPS, SAME JOURNEY

The passing of AMSE Olaitan Aderemi Balogun, the first Head of the C.C.C. USA National Diocese, has caused many of us to pause and reflect.

In 2022, during Ebenezer 2022 our Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving celebration at C.C.C. Citizens Global, he stood before us and ministered. Looking back at that message since he's passing, one statement speaks louder than ever:

“Tomorrow might be too late.”

At the time, it was a sermon.

Today, it has become a reminder to all of us who are still on this journey.

He also described our bodies as a *rental car*—something entrusted to us by God for a season, which one day must be returned to its Owner.

What a profound truth.

Life is a journey, and we all have different bus stops.

- Some arrive earlier.
- Some travel longer.

But one thing is certain:

Every journey has a final stop.

The question, therefore, is not how long we will live, but how well we are living.

- Are we doing right?
- Are we treating people right?
- Are we building or destroying?
- Are we uniting or dividing?
- Are we using our lives to glorify God?

One of the questions he asked us in 2022 still echoes today:

“What are we passing to the next generation—the truth or lies?”

His departure reminds us that titles, positions, and earthly achievements are temporary, but faithfulness to God is eternal.

Today, I the Shepherd in Christ honour the life and service of AMSE Olaitan Aderemi Balogun, a man who played a significant role in the history of the Celestial Church of Christ in America.

And while we pray for his family and the entire C.C.C. family, may his message continue to speak to us:

"Tomorrow might be too late."

- Let us love more.
- Let us forgive more.
- Let us serve more.
- Let us reconcile.
- Let us walk with God sincerely.

Because we do not know where our bus stop is.

My prayer is that when our own journey is complete, we too shall be able to say:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Rest well, AMSE Olaitan Aderemi Balogun.

Different bus stops. Different timings. One journey. One eternity.

May we all finish well.

Amen. - TSIC
