Our first Black Women Wellness Workshop was a powerful success! 🌟 We were inspired by the knowledge shared by Dr. and the heartfelt stories shared by other Black women discussing their experiences with the healthcare system. It takes immense courage to open up in a room full of others, and that bravery truly shone through. 💫 This workshop wasn’t just about wellness; it was about nurturing our health while forging unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. 👩🏾‍🦱👩🏿‍🦱👩🏽‍🦱

This past week, our director, Jada Moss, had the privilege of attending BMMA's 2024 Black Maternal Health Conference in Atlanta. One powerful message resonated throughout the event: WE ALL PLAY A PART in advocating for change. It's on all of us to speak up when lives are at risk and to take the necessary steps to protect our Black mothers. Did you know that Black women are 4 times more likely to die during childbirth compared to White women? It's time to raise our voices and take action. 🩵🩵🩵
