I had the privilege of representing Naija Worldwide Charities (NWC) and Global Women Africa Network (GLOW) at the 2026 IMF and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C..

At a time when the world is navigating economic uncertainty, rising debt, and climate challenges, it was powerful to engage in conversations shaping the future of global development—especially around energy-driven growth, digital healthcare, and agricultural transformation.

One thing is clear: Africa must not just be part of the conversation—we must help shape it.

At NWC and GLOW, we remain committed to ensuring that women, youth, and underserved communities are not only included, but empowered to lead.

We are open to partnerships that translate these global conversations into real, measurable impact on the ground.

He is risen—and with Him, every stagnant dream, every fractured place, and every worn-out heart can be rejuvenated. This Easter, recollect that the same power that vanquished the grave resides within you. Walk in victory, stand in hope, and welcome new opportunities. Resurrection is not just a moment—it is your reality.

International Women’s Day 2026
Theme: Rights. Justice. Action.

Although International Women’s Day 2026 falls on Sunday, March 8, communities and organizations around the world are celebrating today to honor the achievements of women and to renew our commitment to advancing gender equality.

Naija Worldwide Charities (NWC) and Global Women Africa Network (GLOW) proudly join this global movement under this year’s theme: Rights. Justice. Action.

Today’s theme reminds us that women’s rights cannot exist without justice. Yet across the world, women and girls still face significant barriers when seeking protection, fairness, and accountability. Globally, women have only 64% of the legal rights of men, and millions are denied access to justice because of poverty, discrimination, conflict, or weak legal systems.

Too often women are ignored, disbelieved, blamed, or silenced when they seek justice. This must change.

At NWC and GLOW, we believe that justice must be accessible to all women and girls—regardless of where they live or their economic status. Through advocacy, partnerships, education, and leadership development, we continue to support women and girls across Africa and the diaspora so their voices are heard and their rights are protected.

On this International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to:

• Defending the rights of women and girls
• Expanding access to justice and opportunity
• Supporting survivors of violence and discrimination
• Empowering women as leaders and changemakers

When women have justice, communities thrive. When women’s rights are protected, societies prosper.

Let us all take action to build a world where rights are protected, justice is accessible, and women and girls can live with dignity and opportunity.

Happy International Women’s Day 2026.

This Christmas, we honor the birth of Jesus Christ—the greatest gift of compassion and salvation. As we celebrate, may we continue to be His hands and feet, bringing hope, care, and love to the most vulnerable.

A former Chief of Medicine at Park West Health Systems, Dr. O has spent her career addressing complex and often stigmatized conditions, including HIV, Hepatitis B & C, and Substance Use Disorders—areas where women and girls disproportionately face silence, discrimination, and abuse, both offline and online.

Through international medical missions and her virtual health platform, “Medical Mondays with Dr. O,” she continues to expand access to trusted information and safe digital spaces for education, healing, and empowerment.
