The Hijrah Walk Umrah

This 5-day walk is a reflective journey following selected sections of the route taken by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during his Hijrah from Makkah to Madinah. Participants will walk in the cooler February weather, retracing his footsteps while reflecting on the sacrifice, trust in Allah, and steadfast faith that shaped this defining moment in Islamic history.

The journey combines daily walking with guided Seerah reflections, Qur’an recitation, du‘a, and group discussions, allowing participants to draw practical lessons from the Hijrah and apply them to their own lives. Evenings will be spent sleeping in tents under the stars, creating a simple and immersive experience reminiscent of the journey itself.

Participants will be provided with daily nutritious meals, and all supplies will be carried in support vehicles to allow walkers to focus fully on the experience. A qualified medical professional will accompany the group throughout the journey to ensure safety and wellbeing. This is not a physical endurance event, but a spiritually guided journey designed to revive the meaning of Hijrah — moving away from what distances us from Allah and toward what brings us closer to Him.
