Louisiana Boxer Rescue www.louisianaboxerrescue.org Once care and evaluations are complete, these boxers are then ready for adoption. We are also looking for experienced foster homes.

Louisiana Boxer Rescue, located in New Orleans, Louisiana is an all volunteer, non profit, 501C3 organization that provides a safe haven for Boxers surrendered by their owners or that have come to us from an animal shelter. Unlike a shelter, our rescues live with a foster family during their interum for veterinary care, behaviour evaluation and observation that assists us in finding them the best

...suited permanent homes. Boxers that come to us receive necessary veterinary care, including required vaccinations, spaying/neutering and heartworm treatment. We are always looking for good volunteers for transports, to do meet and greets or home visits before a dog gets adopted. If you are interested in being a volunteer, transport or foster home, please contact us. We are thankful for the open arms and hearts of the wonderful families that temporarily foster until we can find each a permanant and loving home. We depend on our adoption fees and donations to help us care for these animals while in foster care. Donations can be made securely via PayPal using the "Donate" button on our website.

Louisiana Boxer Rescue needs your help. Vet costs have risen and it’s hard for us to keep up. Our coffers are low and we have dogs waiting for heartworm treatment, spay, and a dental. If you’re able to help, any donations are appreciated!

🐾 Greetings Boxer friends and family.
We have a Boxer in need but we currently have no fosters. Zulie is a brindle girl approximately 7 years old and temporarily living with the good Samaritan who rescued her. She is described as a sweet, happy girl who is good with other dogs, cat, and children. She housebroken and crate trained.

Zulie will need medical attention so we are looking for someone who will be able to transport her to and from her appointments with our vet.

Meet Toddy! She is 9 yrs old and in great health. Her owner is in assisted care and cannot keep her. Toddy is crate trained and Super sweet. She gets along well with other dogs.

Please welcome Rainey to Louisiana Boxer Rescue! This sweet girl just got to us today after being found by a busy highway. Her personality is sweet, affectionate, and a bit timid. Rainey’s new beginning starts today and we’re looking forward to watching her personality emerge and blossom!
