It's Spotlight Saturday! ✨ Congratulations to Dr. Cameron Ringstead (PhD '25) on recently being named Director of Sports Performance at Belmont University in Nashville, TN!

Dr. Ringstead completed his doctorate in Sports Leadership from CUC in 2025. His dissertation was entitled "Silos and the Impact on Communication and Collaboration in Division 1 College Athletic Departments."

Ladies of our alumni community—you're invited!

Join us for our Summer "Blessed Is She" Women's Luncheon on Tuesday, July 7 for an inspiring afternoon of faith, fellowship, food, and flowers! CUC's own Deaconess Frances Szeto (BA '03) will share a devotional message of encouragement, followed by a delightful high-tea style lunch. Then, get creative as you design and arrange your own beautiful floral bouquet to take home as a reminder of our time together.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow women in our community, be refreshed in faith, and enjoy a creative afternoon together. Bring a friend! We'd love to see you there.

Last week, Klinck Memorial Library hosted a "Weeding Party" at CUC's Pollinator Garden (next to Concordia Hall). Members of the Concordia community, including a few alumni stopped by to spruce up the garden by removing pesky weeds. 🌱

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming Dan and Nancy (Vanderhorst) Kunert (BS '62) back to campus—all the way from the Big Island of Hawaii! We loved showing them how much has grown and changed at CUC while revisiting beloved classics like Krauss Hall.

Congratulations to Morgan Jahnke (BS '16) on recently being named the head women's basketball coach at York High School in Elmhurst, IL! 🏀

Jahnke was a guard for the CUC Cougars women's basketball team during the 2013-16 seasons, graduating with a degree in physical education. Most recently, she served as a coach at Willows Academy in Des Plaines, IL.

Once a Cougar, always a Cougar—Standing Tall and leading the next generation!
