Our Neighbors' Place, Inc. Mission Statement: Connecting our neighbors with support, housing, and shelter services. DAY CENTER: is open Monday - Friday 10am-4pm.

Resources inside our building include: shower, laundry, housing counseling, food, transportation assistance, housing applications, referrals, case management, phone/fax/internet/WiFi, mailing address, etc for anyone seeking guidance and support when struggling to meet basic needs. THE CLOSET: a gently used/new boutique is open to the general public Tuesday 10-6, Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-4, Saturda

y 10-1.
100% of sales revenue is returned to our community to assist in programming needs. The Closet also provides adults in need/transition access to quality new and gently used clothing through a free voucher. DONATIONS: Closet donations are accepted daily (Mon 10-4, Tue 10-6, Wed 10-4, Thu 10-6, Fri 10-4, Sat 10-1). Items we accept include: gently used or new adult clothing, shoes, outerwear, accessories (jewelry, purses, bags, etc), blankets, sheets, hygiene items and towels. Being homeless is a vulnerable position to be in...its hard to know who to trust. For someone who is struggling, sometimes the hardest thing is asking for help. The Day Center is a safe and non-judgmental place for folks to come and find the resources they need. Along with direct resources, it has services such as referrals, advocacy, and case management available.

"I need emotional support. I need help doing all this. I don't know what to do or where to start. It's so hard to do it all on my own. I'm so tired of struggling. I just can't do all the things I used to - I feel like I'm drowning." Sometimes there is a shift in the landscape, and for whatever reason, retirement is no longer going according to plan. Navigating the subsidized housing system can be confusing. Our housing case manager, helps with navigating the system, submitting applications, advocating for clients and appealing denials.

The Closet offers anyone in need of help with clothing a voucher to shop at our thrift store; there is nothing needed to qualify. Each voucher lasts for 90 days and allows for over a dozen items of clothing as well as access to personal care and household cleaning items. Each family member who wears adult-sized clothing is eligible for their own voucher, so this may cover teens in your family as well. Call us if you have more questions-715-426-9000.
