Earlier this week, four of our members traveled to Madison for the first‑ever Collegiate Farm Bureau Grassroots to Government Summit. We spent time with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Government Relations team learning about current legislation impacting agriculture and how we can effectively advocate for our industry. We finished the first day off with a fun round of Ag Olympics (the collegiate team brought home the gold!🥇)

The next day, we connected with local county Farm Bureaus, heard from speakers including Wisconsin DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski and Marcus Landry, who shared his powerful story of what it means to be an agriculturalist, before heading to the Capitol to meet with our local representatives.

Proud to keep growing our voice, our leadership, and our impact in Wisconsin agriculture. 🌾💪

Josie Bailey, Faith Burgess, Victoria Havlik and Brooke Mallek have been selected to intern with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau during the coming year. Together they will assist in promoting and communicating for WFBF programs throughout the spring and summer of 2026.
