River - Dam - Falls We are a group of committed local citizens interested in preserving our Upper and Lower hydroelectric dams for future generations of River Falls residents.

As our dams represent a historically unique and beneficial public works, affording our community the ability to generate clean energy locally, we seek their continued presence and operation as a means of preserving our energy independence and local heritage. While some in our community are aggressively pursuing a dam removal agenda, we seek compromise solutions centered on modernization and other

ecological improvements, such as the installation of fish-safe turbines, to ensure our hydroelectric dams operate in a cost effective and environmentally sound fashion for years to come. We believe local energy policy should be established by fact and economic feasibility rather than dictated by a small, activist minority seeking to destroy one of our great public works in the name of environmental stewardship.
