This past Wednesday, our chapter held our second annual speed interview prep night! We hosted six teachers from the surrounding area who asked our members interview questions and gave feedback to our students on what they could improve on.

This past Friday, members had the opportunity to attend the Fall Preservice Program Tours! Members spent the day with different Ag teachers, toured Amery’s program & FARM, and enjoyed a dinner together😊 We are so fortunate Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators (WAAE) puts this on for our members to learn from wonderful Ag Teachers in the area. 👩‍🏫

Happy National Farmers Day! Here are some of our officers favorite farmers:

President Gracie Schultz: her brothers Mickel & Delton. Together they run a beef herd in Little Falls, Minnesota. Gracie loves watching her brothers grow their farm & chase their dreams while investing in knowledge/opportunities that’ll help their future! (picture 1 & 2)

1st VP Amy Jentges: Roden Echo Valley LLC is a dairy farm in West Bend, WI where they milk 850 cows on a 40 cow rotary. Amy has worked on their farm since 2019 to bring farm camps and tours to hundreds of kids through Roden Barnyard Adventures LLC! This group has brought them donuts for “service Saturday” during national FFA Week. (picture 3)

Reporter Steph Meier: her great grandpa Don, grandpa Mike, & her dad, Rusty. Passing through the generations the Meier family farm originally had a dairy herd but now run a confinement swine nursery. They also farm around 500 acres of corn and soybeans (pictures 4 & 5)

CAFES Rep Rhylie Gough: her grandma Arlene and grandpa Dale (not pictured) run a dairy farm in Juda, WI. They gave her, her first experiences on the farm and jump started her love for agriculture! (picture 6)

A big thank you to what all farmers across America for producing the food we eat! Stay safe during the rest of harvest season!
