Grant/Adams/Lincoln 4-H Youth Development The Grant County (Washington) 4-H Youth Development Program is coordinated from the WSU Extension Office in Moses Lake, WA.

4-H is a youth development program for kids 5 to 19 years of age. Volunteers teach life skills through a variety of subjects delivered in a variety of ways to youths in local, State, National, & International 4-H programs. WSU Grant County office is located in Moses Lake. Contact 509-754-2011 ext 4313 for more information. Randy Williams is the 4-H Program Coordinator for Lincoln and (East) Adams

counties. Bridget Rohner, WSU Extension Human Development Associate Professor, is County Director for Lincoln County and coordinates Food Sense program and human development programs for Lincoln and (East) Adams Counties. When registering for the Fair, please remember:

👉 **Use your 4‑H member’s age as of **🗓️ October 1, 2025 — not their current age or age during Fair week.

Using the correct age is important to ensure members are placed in the appropriate age division for their 4‑H fair entries.

2026 GRANT COUNTY 4-H MEMBER DEMONSTRATIONS/PRESENTATIONS DAYS

• Presentations are part of each member’s annual 4-H commitment
• Area Presentation Day is required if you plan to present at the Fair
• Intermediate & Senior members presenting at County Fair may qualify to advance to State Fair!
• Grant County 4-H Leaders Council is covering enrollment fees for any 4-H youth who presents a public demonstration at the Grant County Fair. To be eligible, youth must present their demonstration at one of the following events and during the fair.

⏰ Reminder: Beef Tag Information Due This Saturday (April 18)

For Grant County 4‑H youth enrolled in MARKET BEEF PROJECTS:

✅ Grant County Fair market beef ear tags are available at the WSU Extension Office

📍 1525 E. Wheeler Road, Moses Lake

📸 As in past years, youth must submit a photo of the animal with both ear tags visible

NEW this year: Tag information and photos are submitted through the survey link and questionnaire

🗓 Beef tag information is due by Saturday, April 18.

📧 A confirmation email will be sent within 2–3 business days after submission.

The Ken Ardell Scholarship deadline is coming up soon!

All applications are due to the Grant County Extension Office by February 1.

This long‑standing scholarship supports local youth in pursuing higher education, awarding $1,500 scholarships to eligible applicants from Grant and Adams Counties.
