Still Pots Available! Register today!

🍂🌻 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🌻🍂

It’s time to bring a little Fall Harvest magic to Downtown Rittman! Registration is officially open for the 2026 DRBI Fall Planter Contest, and we can’t wait to see what our community creates!

🏆 This year’s theme: FALL HARVEST
Think mums, pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, grasses, branches, berries, leaves, straw, burlap and all those beautiful colors and textures of the harvest season. Go traditional, rustic, whimsical or elegant—just make it creative, family-friendly and FALL! 🍁

The contest is open to downtown businesses, organizations, citizens and property owners.

💲 ENTRY FEES
🍁 $20 — Rittman Chamber of Commerce Members
🍁 $25 — Non-Members
You may be wondering why Chamber members receive a discount now that DRBI is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and no longer part of the Chamber. While we are two separate organizations, DRBI and the Rittman Chamber continue to work together on projects and initiatives that strengthen our downtown and local business community. The discounted rate recognizes that continued partnership and the support Chamber members provide throughout our community. ❤️

And your entry fee does more than enter you into the contest! Proceeds go directly back into DRBI’s beautification efforts—helping fund downtown planters, seasonal improvements, public-space projects and future initiatives that make Downtown Rittman a more welcoming and beautiful place.

📅 IMPORTANT DATES
Decorating begins October 5
Planters must be completed by October 9
Judging takes place October 18–24

🏆 Awards will be given for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and People’s Choice!
🌱 Planting live flowers or plants is optional. If you choose to plant anything, you’ll be responsible for watering and maintaining it throughout the contest.

Ready to claim a planter? Register now! 🍂

Introducing our Blue Ribbon Rittman Business Spotlights! 💙

Our local businesses helped make Blue Ribbon Rittman something special, and we wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to some of the businesses that participated and the people behind them!

🏋️ First up: Evolution Athletics and Coaching LLC
Located at 8 N. Main Street, Evolution offers 24/7 gym access, individual and team coaching and training, and a Monday evening class for kids ages 10–13.

But there’s a special story behind Evolution. Owner Dave and his best friend Matt used to dream about owning a gym someday. Today, Evolution is dedicated in Matt’s memory. ❤️

After leaving nursing, Dave found another way to continue doing what he loves — helping people. His belief is that physical fitness and training should be accessible to everyone, with a mission of helping people become the best versions of themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.
When we asked Dave what he enjoys most about being part of the Rittman community, his answer was the friendliness — the feeling that you can walk up to just about anyone and start a conversation.

That’s exactly the kind of community Blue Ribbon Rittman was created to celebrate. 💙

Thank you to Evolution Athletics & Coaching for participating and for choosing to invest right here in downtown Rittman!
