During the Stricker Street fire, FFPM Kelsey Sadler was acting in the Lieutenant position, the unit officer of Engine 14.

By orders of Chief Niles R. Ford, Kelsey is posthumously promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Baltimore City this morning, May they Rest In Peace. Thoughts and prayers also go out to the firefighter who is currently fighting for his life and the Baltimore City Fire Department as they come together after this tragedy and stand together for the difficult days to come. ❤️

Tonight members of MD 2 and MD 3 hosted a holiday dinner for a group of veterans in the care of Victoria Veterans Housing Project: In-Joy Veterans/Senior Social Center in Perryville. We also gave each veteran a bag of gifts, for which they were so excited about. This was the first of many more events with this group. To see the joy on their faces and hear them express how wonderful this was for them was such a heartwarming blessing for our chapters. The house is run by Annette Wilson who houses 10 veterans and helps them with their every day needs and does so selflessly. She is truly amazing! Thank you to all who came out and participated with us and made this happen! This is our mission! ❤️

Members of MD 2 and MD 3 did some shopping for local Veterans! Thank you Walmart in Aberdeen (especially our cashier) for being so patient with us and having what we needed to get them what they needed!
