This ride will be stopping at our Post on Septenber 19th. Contact them if interested. Donations would be appreciated if you aren't able participate.

The Madison Indiana American Legion Riders Chapter #9 is having our annual Benefit Ride supporting Blankets for Veterans & Homeless and Dogs Helping Heroes on September 19th. This Benefit Ride is for a great cause that provides Blankets to our Veterans & Homeless and Trained Rescue Dogs for Veterans & First Responders in need. Come join the Benefit this is an open ride for everyone all types of vehicles are welcome. $25.00 per bike or a vehicle up to 2 people. All donations will go directly to the Benefit Fund. A meal will be provided when we return to Post #9
Registration forms will be available at the American Legion Post #9 starting September 7th, 2026

If you are looking for something to do on the 4th of July, visit Milan that day.

Come watch the annual Lion's Club Parade.

Have delicious fried chicken at the Fire Department House.

Then drop by our Legion Post for music, games, and food. We are also having the Money Raffle drawing that evening. There's no cover charge. See attached flyer.

They’ve generously stepped up to lead efforts in Ohio County, placing 16 collection barrels throughout Rising Sun to gather new, unwrapped toys for local children.

Because of their dedication, the magic of Christmas will shine even brighter for families across Ohio County. ✨

This is our last push to fill the 9 barrels around town and we will be picking up your donations on Monday December 9th! Thank you very much for your donations/generosity in making a Merry Christmas for local community children!!

It is that time of year to give from the heart and help The American Legion Riders Chapter 59 help SEIOC Toys for Tots Campaign and we have placed these barrels in these businesses that graciously allowed us to place them in their businesses in Rising Sun so we are asking that you bring a new unwrapped toy, books, craft kits, hats, gloves, etc. and place them in these barrels as soon as possible! These are the businesses that are helping us with this Christmas drive:
