Livy had her first day of middle school!

She greeted students before the first bell and is already loving every moment. From calming nerves to bringing smiles, she’s exactly where she’s meant to be and looking pretty great in her bandana too.

This Oasis Room at the Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area is a place for kids to pause, breathe, and just be. A safe space for big feelings, quiet moments, and support when it’s needed most.

🩵💜 We are so grateful Brittany reached out to us for support with Livy’s training, and we’re proud to help bring therapy dogs into Ripon Schools. Keep an eye out for Livy at the middle school after spring break.

Therapy dogs can play such an important role in mental health. They help reduce anxiety, provide comfort during hard moments, and create a safe, supportive space for students who may be struggling. Sometimes, it’s not about having the right words, it’s about having a calm, steady presence.

We believe this kind of support can make a lasting difference for so many kids.

We believe supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our students matters. A therapy dog can provide comfort, connection, and calm during hard moments and that’s something worth investing in.

School Resource Officer Lindsey Michels is seeking approval to introduce a therapy dog in Ripon schools and the community. The dog, funded by donations, aims to provide emotional support, aid in mental health issues and assist in sensitive crime interviews.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re reminded why First We Live exists: to ensure everyone has the chance to live fully and care for their mental health. 🩵💜

Your support helps us fund vital programs and services for youth and those in helping professions, breaking down barriers to mental health care access. With your generosity, we make Wellness Days at Murray Park Quest Elementary possible, giving students tools, experiences, and support to care for their mental health.

We also create OASIS Rooms, which are safe spaces in schools where students can pause, reset, and practice self-care, and we provide community resources and education to support mental health for those who need it most.

The semicolon is more than punctuation, it’s a symbol of hope. It reminds us that just like a sentence doesn’t end where a semicolon is placed, our stories don’t have to end either. We can pause, take a breath, and choose to keep going.
