🎉 We are back for another year of Egging for MPS!

For this fundraiser, Lilah fills our eggs with all sorts of goodies and hides them in your yard the night before Easter! 🐰

🐣 You can order an egg hunt for your yard by messaging us, Lilah’s Lemonade, or Kimber Heiling with your Ripon address and how many dozen eggs you'd like us to hide in your yard.

500!

Lilah has reached a milestone- 500 successful infusions! To celebrate, she is hoping to raise $500 for her last lemonade stand of the season!

(History) Infusions 1-55 were done at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Every Thursday we would get up early and drive to Milwaukee. In that time, her list of allergies grew to include Ibuprofen and Naglazyme (the infusion medication). She had a severe reaction to the only treatment for her disease. As a better quality of care was available in Minnesota, we switched her care team to them and transitioned to home infusions.

Lilah’s first home infusion was when she was just 2 years old and her first nurse was Michelle. She has had the same nurse ever since. 💜

Summer of 2019, Lilah had her first season of Lilah’s Lemonade as her way to help our family get to family conference in Orlando. “I know, we’ll have a lemonade stand”. Every summer since, she has continued her infusion day tradition but donating the money raised to help others battling the same rare disease.

🌟 Here she is, going on 11 years old, raised more money than she can fathom, and pictured with one of her biggest supporters- Tammy, who knew it was her milestone infusion and brought balloons and candy. Lilah was overjoyed and as her mom, I can’t put into words how incredible it is to have met so many wonderful people that make this sort of impact on Lilah’s life.

Open Thursdays in the summer, Lilah’s Lemonade is an awareness stand that happens to have the best homemade lemonade. As a fundraiser for National MPS Society, Lilah has raised thousands of dollars for MPS research and support during her long weekly ERT infusions.

There is just two Thursdays left of the ‘25 season then it’s back to school (fun fact, Lilah goes to school while she’s getting her infusions)!

All money raised goes directly to the National MPS Society.

We are in Denver, Colorado for National MPS Society Family Conference! Tomorrow morning Lilah and I will be sharing our fundraising story.

We are forever grateful for the love and support we have received over the last 7 lemon squeezin seasons. It’s community support that has made Lilah’s Lemonade such a success!

This week was slow at the lemonade stand but not lacking excitement!

We were contacted by the National MPS Society and asked to speak at family conference next month about Lilah’s Lemonade and our fundraising efforts! What an honor!

It’s a great day for some fresh squeezed, ice cold lemonade! Lilah’s Lemonade will be open today starting at 11 am!

All money raised by Lilah with her homemade lemonade is donated to National MPS Society for research for her rare disease and funding support programs for families like ours!

Lilah has mucopolysaccharidosis type VI, a progressive lysosomal storage disease, meaning her body is missing an enzyme which causes GAGs to build up throughout her body. These GAGs cause irreversible damage and there is no cure. There is a treatment to slow the progression of the disease and during this long weekly treatment she opens her lemonade stand to help others fighting the same disease.

See next Thursday at 11 AM! We are all done for today! We packed up in a hurry when we saw the weather changing! Great first day, nice to see the familiar faces that come every week year after year!

Every Thursday during her home infusion, Lilah opens up her lemonade stand, serving ice cold, homemade lemonade to raise money and awareness for her rare disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS).

All money raised at Lilah’s Lemonade stand goes directly to National MPS Society, to fund research for a cure for MPS/ML and fund support programs for families like ours!
