Ripley Lions Club

On behalf of all the club members, we would like to thank everyone who came out today to donate, to eat and to enjoy the fellowship of so many good people. We received 75 pairs of glasses that will be passed on to VOSH next month. We appreciate your patience, your generosity and the support we get from our community. And to the ladies of Beebe Chapel, you outdid yourselves. The sweets were plentiful and delicious. Your support allows us to continue our commitment to end vision loss and to serve our brothers and sisters in need right here at home. I hope everyone enjoyed their lunch today as much as we did!!

Our first glasses donation of the day!! Bring five or more glasses and receive a free sandwich! Thank you Pastor Settles. 😎

Tomorrow we will be selling our World Famous Pork Tenderloins and hosting a glasses drive, in which all glasses will be donated to Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. This organization recycles or repurposes glasses and travels to underprivileged countries to provide free vision care to their citizens. Bring 5 or more gently used glasses and we will happily give you a free sandwich! We appreciate all your support. 👓

We hope to see you Saturday at the Ripley Life Squad building beginning at 11ish.

We Serve!

The Ripley Lions Club worked on our environmental project today and picked up litter in town and about a mile down 52 outside of town. As you can see there was a lot of trash. It’s our hope that folks here and passing through town will do a little better job cleaning up after themselves. Thanks to the Lions that gave up their Saturday morning to help keep our community clean. We serve!!@
