Ty recently celebrated his Official Signing Day and will continue his academic and athletic journey on a full athletic scholarship to Ouachita Baptist University, earning this opportunity with a 4.3 weighted GPA and 26 ACT score.

Today, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our branch honored his legacy through service. 💙

Thanks to the generosity of our members and community, our MLK Day of Service donation drive was a success. The items collected will help support senior citizens in our community, reminding us that “everybody can be great, because anybody can serve.”

We are grateful for everyone who donated, showed up, and supported today’s effort, and for those who attended our branch meeting. Together, we continue building the Beloved Community through action, not just words.

✨ A Night to Remember: Freedom Fund & Awards Gala ✨

The Lauderdale County Branch NAACP #5660 is grateful for the overwhelming success of our Freedom Fund & Awards Gala, “The Fierce Urgency of Now.” More than 200 community members, leaders, supporters, and partners joined us for an evening rooted in purpose, unity, and action.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our keynote speaker, Dr. Sekou Franklin, whose powerful and timely message challenged us to recognize that “the house is on fire”, and reminded us that this moment calls for courage, clarity, and collective responsibility.
