It is to raise money for scholarships that are given to graduating seniors at Rio Vista High in honor of Deven Davis.

This September, we’re sending love to every child and every family affected by childhood cancer. 💛

To every child newly diagnosed.
Every child in treatment.
Every child living with the impact.
Every sibling affected too.
Every parent trying to hold everything together.
Every family missing their child.
Every family finding their new normal.

Childhood cancer affects so much more than a child’s health. It changes routines, families, futures and everyday life in ways many people never see.

🎗️ As we pass the halfway mark of September, we know how much of yourselves you are pouring into childhood cancer awareness in honor of our children, both on social media and in your communities.

🎗️ We also know the difficult balance of living it, fighting for it, and raising awareness without making the reality so uncomfortable that people turn away.

🎗️ Because once you witness what happens on the oncology floor of a children’s hospital, you never forget it. And when it’s your child, it becomes personal. It always will be.

We hope this helps explain why we keep showing up, sharing our stories, and asking others to see childhood cancer too. 🎗️

🎗How many times have you been asked, “How did you know?"

🎗We are sharing these potential signs of childhood cancer to encourage awareness and early detection. How each unique child begins to present their malignancy can be different.

🎗The onset of many childhood cancers are acute, meaning they develop and take over the body very quickly. Once diagnosed, children often start chemotherapy very quickly. There is no time to wait.

🎗Although many of these symptoms can easily be the sign of a simple cold or flu, if symptoms persist, or your gut tells you that something is wrong, we encourage you to seek further testing from your child’s pediatrician.
