I am sharing our Christmas News letter with you all. Thank you to all the families who support us!
Merry Christmas from Texas Children's Museum!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our family celebrated a special one this year, reconnecting with loved ones we hadn’t seen in three years and cherishing time with both new and old friends.

As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year filled with blessings and exciting milestones. Our family welcomed a beautiful new member—our first grandchild, Saphira! Kathryn did an amazing job bringing her into the world. And the joy continues as our oldest daughter, Evelyn, is expecting another little girl in February.

This past year has also been an incredible journey for Texas Children’s Museum.

• Spring Break 2024 was a huge success, and we are so grateful to all the families who participated.

• We are deeply thankful to our Board Members who have stood beside us, offered their prayers, and provided unwavering support.

• A special thanks to Pastor Gene Jones and Sharon Harrelson Jones, who have been not just spiritual leaders but dear friends, along with our church family at The Refuge Church in Cleburne, Texas.

As we prepare for Christmas Break and the New Year, we know it’s a busy time filled with family gatherings, school parties, shopping, and holiday preparations. Amidst all the hustle and bustle, we kindly ask for your help as we look toward Spring Break 2025.

Next spring, we’ll be hosting a week-long fundraiser to help us secure a permanent home for Texas Children’s Museum. Here’s how you can support us:

• We’re looking for vendors, food trucks, and church bands to participate.

• Your involvement will help us achieve our goal and ensure the museum remains a place for families to enjoy for years to come.

This Christmas, we invite you to visit the museum and explore our display celebrating The Birth of Jesus. Let’s remember the true reason for the season and the hope and joy He brings.

We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us this year:

• Sponsors: HEB Cleburne Texas, Texas New Mexico Power, Wal-Mart, and Laura Johnston.

• Board Members: Laura Johnston, DeWayne Burns, Gene & Sharon Jones, Sandi Ringer, Chris & Evelyn Benitez, Karen Spillman, Marlaine Iserson, Nancy Horner, Pat McCall, Patty Lynn Watson Abbott, and Kathryn Rosenkrans.

• Families: Thank you to everyone who purchased memberships, celebrated birthdays, and brought your children to experience the museum.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and your loved ones this season. From our family to yours,
The Rosenkrans Family

This afternoon, as I was taking the roast out of the freezer to thaw, I couldn't help but feel a little excited about Church tomorrow. You see, tomorrow is a special day—everyone will bring a dish, and we'll have an old-fashioned potluck. But as I thought about it, I realized it’s not just the food that excites me,though that’s certainly a highlight.

What I’m truly looking forward to is the fellowship. After the service, we get to sit down together, share a meal, and connect with one another. There's something deeply uplifting about gathering with other believers, breaking bread, and sharing in each other's lives. It brings joy to go to the house of God and spend time with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

This fellowship is such an important part of being in a Church family. It's about getting to know oneanother, supporting each other, and sharing the ups and downs of daily life with fellow believers.
So what does God's word have to say about this?

Hebrews 10:25 NIV
Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Acts 2:42 NIV
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:46 NIV
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

Matthew 18:20 NIV
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.ā€
I leave you with this last verse. As we sit down together tomorrow and we gather in His name he is there with us. I ask you even if you have never been to The Refuge Church in Cleburne Texas. Stop by service starts at 10.30am and stay for lunch. I will save you a seat! Love Pastor Vada

So this was a couple of day's ago, I forgot to post. Hope you all enjoy.

Today, I sat outside, watching as dark clouds rolled across the sky. As they swirled and shifted, I couldn’t help but think about miracles.

The sky, the clouds, the rain—each of these was created by God. When you stop and really think about it, that’s pretty incredible. Every part of nature, from the vastness of the heavens to the smallest drop of rain, is a reminder of God's handiwork. These aren’t just ordinary moments; they are glimpses of His ongoing miracles.

I recently found myself sitting quietly, when I overheard someone remark, "We don’t see many miracles today." The words lingered in my mind, and I couldn’t help but wonder: Could it be that in the midst of our busy lives, we’ve forgotten to recognize and thank Jesus for the miracles happening all around us, every single day?
Every drop of rain that nourishes the earth is a miracle—the way it feeds crops, flowers, trees, animals, insects, and us, His beloved children. These are everyday wonders, gifts from God that sustain life and reveal His care. Perhaps the problem isn’t the absence of miracles, but our failure to notice them.

Think about our everyday lives—the birth of a new baby, a child taking their first steps, holding the hand of someone you love. These moments, though they may seem ordinary, are nothing short of miraculous.

Even the things we often take for granted—food on the table, clothes to wear, a roof over our heads—are all miracles in themselves. Each is a reminder of God’s provision and grace, woven into the fabric of our daily existence. Sometimes, it’s in the simplest things that we see the greatest evidence of His love and care.

Maybe when we take a step back and recognize the small, everyday miracles, and acknowledge them to the Lord, our eyes will be opened to the bigger miracles around us. When we start thanking Him for what we often overlook, we become more aware of His power at work.

Now, here’s the part where I’m excited to share His Word on this very subject. Ready?

Job 9:10 NIV He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

Psalms 77:14 NIV
You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

Matthew 8:27 NIV
The men were amazed and asked, ā€œWhat kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!ā€
So let's get busy taking notice of the small miracles around us.

Tonight, I've beenšŸ¤” thinking about the way people speak šŸ—£to each other. Do you realize that your words šŸ—£carry poweršŸ’„, much like a superhero's🦸 abilities? Remember growing up and watching cartoon superheroes like Superman,šŸ¦øā€ā™‚ļø Batman, 🦸or maybe Wonder WomanšŸ¦øā€ā™€ļø? They all had superpowers, and at the beginning of their stories, they had to learn šŸ“šhow to control those powers.

Well your tonguešŸ˜› carries alot of power! So what does the word say about your tongue,😜 this might surprise you.

Proverbs 15:4 NIV
The soothing tongue is a tree of life,🌲 but a perverse tongue 🤫crushes the spirit.

Psalms 52:2 NIV
You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor.
So be careful, thinkšŸ¤” before you speak. šŸ—£
Your tongue šŸ‘…should be used to uplift, and to Praise God. šŸ™†ā€ā™€ļøšŸ™†ā€ā™‚ļø

Psalms 66:17 NIV
I cried 😭out to him with my mouthšŸ‘…; his praisešŸ™Œ was on my tongue.šŸ‘…

Psalms 16:9 NIV
Therefore my heart🄰 is glad and my tongue rejoicesšŸ‘…; my body also will rest secure.
So next time you speak. Think firstšŸ¤”, Love Pastor Vada
