Rio Grande Bean Dinner

The 154th annual Rio Grande Bean Dinner will be held August 9, 2025 at the University of Rio Grande shelter house from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is $5 for anyone 10 or older. All veterans, fire, first responders, and all others who “serve and sacrifice” as well as children 9 and younger, are admitted for free.

Special entertainment by award winning musician and singer Steve Free, and Wounded Warrior Project speaker Jacob Norotsky.

Please note, this event starts at 11 am EST with the flag raising, gates open at 9 am for the Grandma Gatewood Fun Run/Hike and registration for the Flying Chicken Mountain Bike Time Trial.
