💙 Community Impact Update – May 💙

Because of the generosity and support of our amazing community, Newborns in Need, North GA was able to provide 52 gift bags to mothers of newborns in crisis during the month of May.

When we include all of the items distributed through our partner agencies, the impact becomes even greater. Together, we provided a total of 1,891 essential items to help meet the needs of vulnerable babies and their families.

Every blanket sewn, sleeper donated, package of diapers collected, and monetary gift given makes a difference. Your kindness helps ensure that newborns in our community have a safer, warmer, and more comfortable start in life.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our volunteers, donors, community partners, and everyone who continues to support our mission. We could not do this without you.

What’s on your mind today as you sit and watch the rain fall?

Mine…..

We will never meet the newborns wrapped in the blankets, wearing the tiny hats, or know the mother’s comforted by the memory boxes we create. We will never know their names, their stories, or where life takes them afterward.

And honestly… we’re okay with that.

Because the purpose was never recognition. The purpose was love and meeting a need in a moment that mattered.

Every stitch, every ribbon, every carefully packed bag is made with hope that a newborn and its mother feels seen, comforted, and cared for — even by complete strangers.

To all the anonymous crafters, donors, sewists, quilters, painters, and quiet helpers behind the scenes: thank you. Your kindness reaches places you may never see, but it absolutely matters. 🩷

We are growing and have partnered with Choices, a nonprofit pregnancy resource center in Chattanooga, to help provide much-needed newborn bags. 💕👶

Our mission is to make sure every newborn in need is welcomed with love and essential items, and partnerships like this help make that possible.
