March is Women’s History Month 🌸

Today we celebrate the women who came before us—the rule breakers, the truth tellers, the caretakers, the creators, the quiet fighters, and the loud ones too. The women who built communities, challenged unfair rules, raised families, started businesses, wrote books, changed laws, and refused to be told “no.”

History is full of their stories—some famous, many forgotten—but their impact lives all around us.

Here’s to the women who paved the way, the women doing the work right now, and the girls growing up knowing they can be anything. 💪📚

May we keep telling women’s stories.
May we keep supporting women’s voices.
May we keep making history.

In just over two weeks early voting for the November 4 General Election begins. Voters in the City of Ringgold, Georgia - Government will choose two City Council positions. All Catoosa County voters will decide on continuing the ESPLOST and seats on the Georgia Public Service Commission.

In a politically charged environment, my focus remains on three core concerns:

improving voters' quality of life, advocating conservative spending, and empowering voters to have a greater say in the decision-making process.

Everything else is mere distraction.....I refuse to engage in the games.

Dear County Commissioners.....Im just going to drop this here just to keep your memories refreshed on who started this war on sewer fees....

Analogy:
Imagine a group of neighbors (the county) asking a nearby homeowner (the city) to help pave a shared driveway extension that leads to undeveloped land. They argue it will help everyone someday when houses are built. The homeowner agrees, uses their own savings (SPLOST funds), and paves it.

Later, when the homeowner adds a small monthly maintenance fee for everyone with access—even if they aren’t using it yet—the same neighbors complain:
“But we're not even driving on it yet!”
To which the homeowner replies, “But you asked me to build it for you. And we both know you plan to use it soon.”

Grateful for the education and support received through the Georgia Municipal Association . It makes me much more educated in decisions made moving forward on everything from conflict resolution to leading our City of Ringgold, Georgia - Government into the future with better infrastructure.

Thankful for the trust our voters have given to me. It's a responsibility I do not take lightly.

Driving from the store to home to let my dogs out, I pass two young men walking. I knew one because he is on our youth council. I stopped and offered them a ride because they live a good distance away. They hopped in.

These Ringgold High School Football players were in their words "just trying to get better...".

They worked together....on a Saturday.....for hours....walked there and back.

Our football program and coaches are making a HUGE IMPACT on the young men of this city. Teaching them. Encouraging them. Instilling a work ethic. I am incredibly thankful for the work they put in and the difference they are making in our city. They are an intrical part of raising up future leaders in Ringgold.

I am incredibly thankful. 🐅💙🐅💙🐅
