In Catoosa County, hundreds of middle and high school students walk through the doors of LIFT Youth Center every week, for free after-school activities.
LIFT runs two afterschool programs in Ringgold and Fort Oglethorpe, advancing the mission that students deserve to be Loved as they are, Inspired to be more, Found in community, and Trusted to make a difference.
Beyond a safe place to land after school, LIFT offers free tutoring, Teen Group Therapy with a licensed counselor, a Youth Recovery Initiative, Family Nights, and community events that bring people together in lasting ways.
When LIFT was ready to more than double its footprint and expand its reach across the county, the Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia was one of the voices in the room, offering perspective, encouragement, and a steady hand.
Today, the Foundation is proud to host LIFT's Endowment, walking alongside this organization as it builds the long-term sustainability its mission deserves.
This is what consequential philanthropy looks like with a mission that changes lives right here in Northwest Georgia.
