This week, our teens kicked off 8 weeks of gender specific small groups, and we had a GREAT crowd!

Over the next eight weeks, our guys and girls will meet separately, giving them a chance to have more focused conversations, ask honest questions, dig deeper into God’s Word, and build stronger relationships with their leaders and one another.

Our prayer is that these smaller groups will create opportunities for deeper discipleship moments with our teens and give our leaders the chance to intentionally walk alongside them as they grow in their faith.

And of course, no Teen Night is complete without a good meal! 🍕 A huge thank you to First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe for providing pizza, brownies, and fruit for everyone. We are so grateful for the many ways you continue to support and invest in the students at Young America!

Girls - join us tonight as we begin our new teen small group study called Good News!

In this new 8-session study, girls will learn how to discover the good news of the gospel in every circumstance and in all aspects of their lives. They’ll learn the good news Jesus brings isn’t just good news for eternity; it’s good news for today, too.

☀️ It was a HOT one at Young America Ministries yesterday!

Our kids continued learning about David. After years of running from Saul and trusting God through some incredibly difficult circumstances, David finally became king. He had success, power, wealth, and the love of the people, but we talked about how none of those things were more important than knowing God and trusting His promises.

God made David an incredible promise:
“Your throne shall be established forever.” — 2 Samuel 7:16

We learned that this promise was bigger than David could have imagined. David's throne wouldn't last forever because David would live forever, but because one day Jesus, the forever King, would come through David's family!

A HUGE thank you to First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe for providing our meal! Our kids enjoyed Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks, and we are so thankful for your generosity!

Hot days, full bellies, lots of laughter, and most importantly, another opportunity to point our kids to Jesus.

What a great afternoon at Kids Bible Club! ❤️

This week, we continued through The Biggest Story with David and Goliath from 1 Samuel 16–17. Our kids learned that God doesn’t look at outward appearances. He looks at the heart. David may have seemed like an unlikely choice for a king, but he trusted the Lord completely and knew that the battle belonged to Him!

We also learned that this story is about so much more than being brave enough to face the “giants” in our lives. David points us forward to Jesus, our true and better King! Through David, God defeated Israel’s enemy. Through Jesus and the cross, God defeated our greatest enemies: sin, death, and Satan.

Our verse reminded us:
“Know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s.” 1 Samuel 17:47

A huge thank you to Linda Morris and her friends for providing another delicious meal for our kids! We enjoyed sandwiches, cheese balls, fruit snacks, bananas, and cupcakes. 🥪🍌🧁 We are so thankful for the people who faithfully help us love and serve these kids each week!

Colossians 3:23-24 | Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Our ministry van has been recovered with only minimal damage! We are so thankful for God's provision. Thank you to everyone who shared our post and prayed for its safe return.

This van helps us bring children to our community center who might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, and we're grateful to have it back on the road.

Please continue praying for the people who stole our van. Our desire isn't simply that justice is done, but that they come to know Jesus Christ. We believe the Gospel changes lives and breaks the cycles of crime, poverty, abuse, and neglect that are often passed from one generation to the next. That's why Young America Ministries exists in the first place.

A special thank you to Jordan Henson and Gavin Beason for helping clean out the van and remove all of the fingerprinting dust. 🦸‍♂️🧼 We appreciate you both!

VBS 2026 has officially come to an end, and what an incredible three days it has been!

A huge thank you to Bigtime Ministries for traveling from Alabama to serve alongside us this week, and to Stand With Purpose and Mr. Rick Robinson for connecting us once again this year. We are so thankful for your partnership in sharing the Gospel.

Our kids had an absolute blast as we learned to celebrate Jesus and all the wonderful things He has done for us! Our memory verse for the week was Philippians 4:4: "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!"

And in case you were wondering... our tie dye T shirts turned out AMAZING! 🌈🎉

VBS may be over, but we'll be back for our weekly Kids Bible Club beginning Monday, August 10th at 4pm.We can't wait to see you there!
