Dear friends, I am writing to share with you my decision to step back from inperson pageants for the time being due to health concerns. As many of you may be aware, I have been facing some health challenges, and I would like to provide more insight into my situation. Following a stroke in 2023, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and over the past year, my health has deteriorated significantly. I have been experiencing debilitating leg pain, which has resulted in a diagnosis of neuropathy. Additionally, I am currently dealing with kidney failure and stage 3 liver fibrosis, and my pancreas is no longer functioning, requiring me to rely on insulin. I have undergone multiple medical procedures and have more scheduled. My current priority is my health, and I must focus on my well being. Although I hope to return to pageants soon, the stress of preparation is too much for me to handle in this moment. These health issues have taken a substantial toll on me mentally, emotionally, and physically, and it is an ongoing struggle. I look forward to being back soon, but for now, I must bid you farewell. I love and appreciate you all so much for your support ❤️

We are saddened to announce that our in person Louisiana Ribbon of Colors pageant will not take place this year due to unforeseen personal health reasons. Nonetheless, we are committed to growing our organization and welcoming new Royalty. To achieve this, my team and I have elected to host an online pageant for the following age categories: Teen: 15, 16;
Ms.: 22-30, married, divorced, or with children;
LADY 31+
Miss: 17-21. Interested individuals must register and submit an essay detailing their personal story and motivation for representing our cause, accompanied by a single headshot. Registration fee of $75 applies. Please submit payment via PayPal crystalw1984 friends and family ONLY and submissions to [email protected]

With renewed vitality and clarity, I'm embarking on a transformative journey of self-discovery, intentionally crafting space to rejuvenate and refocus. As I participate in the 80s pageant on May 18th, I'll be concluding my events for the year, trusting that this strategic pause will catalyze future growth and propel me towards new horizons. My passion for the Louisiana Ribbon of Colors Pageant remains unwavering, and I'm excited to witness its vision unfold in the future, grateful for the connections and opportunities that have emerged over the last 3 years.

I am currently facing some serious health issues and due to this I am unable to make the trip to St jude this year. I will be talking to Mrs. Allen on Monday to get the needed information to get our funds sent to st. Jude and she is still going to do something special to recognize our donations. We had 5 events left this year but I've had to cancel 2 and possibly a 3rd but we will play it by ear and I will keep everyone updated. Thank you all for your support and understanding.

Our vendor for our Christmas crowns is in the process of making the claim on the insurance they had on shipping. Our crowns are considered LOST. I'm not sure what that process is but they have informed me that they can put new ones in production or refund me. If you'd like a refund for the little online Christmas pageant we done PLEASE pm me if you'd like to wait for the new ones to arrive also pm me. I need to know by Friday so they can get these in production ASAP.

Cancer is the number one disease killer in the USA for children.

Childhood cancers and adult cancers are not the same.

Children don't normally get breast, lung, colon, ovarian, prostate cancers and adults normally don't get DIPG, Rhabdomyosarcoma or Neuroblastoma
