🌧️ POST 40 FLOOD DAMAGE UPDATE 🌧️

Last night’s heavy rains and flooding caused significant damage to American Legion Williams-Napier Post 40.

Our Post has weathered many storms over the years, but this one left behind quite a mess. 💔
(And yes, that was our storage building and dumpster floating down Highway 41) 🤦🏻‍♀️

Our members are already working hard to assess the damage, clean up, and begin the repairs needed to get Post 40 back to serving our veterans and our community. 💪

We’re asking for your prayers, patience, and support as we work through the days ahead. 🙏

Please be patient with us as some events, meetings, and activities may need to be adjusted while we clean up and make repairs.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we know more.

Due to some damage from last nights storms, Post 40 will have to cancel tonight's Family Night event AND Saturday Night Bingo. Thank you for your understanding!

Join us TONIGHT for our regular meeting!
Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, followed by the joint meeting at 7:00 PM.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made our Family Night and Back-to-School Supply Giveaway such an incredible success!

To everyone who donated money, school supplies, and your time—thank you for investing in the children of our community. Your generosity made a real and lasting difference.

To all of the families who came out to enjoy Family Night, thank you for spending the evening with us. It was wonderful to see our community come together for fun, fellowship, and support.

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, more than 85 students received the school supplies they need to begin the new school year with confidence. Together, we're helping ensure these students have a great start to a successful year.

This is what community is all about—neighbors helping neighbors.

From all of us at Williams-Napier American Legion Post 40, thank you for making a difference. We're looking forward to seeing you again next month!
