Each year, members of Post 40, along with family, friends, and community members, gather for an 8.1-mile march in honor and remembrance of our fallen brothers and sisters.
We march to remember. We march to honor. We march so their sacrifice is never forgotten. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

Every year, the red poppy stands as a symbol of remembrance for the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Inspired by the famous World War I poem โ€œIn Flanders Fields,โ€ the poppy became a symbol of hope, honor, and remembrance for veterans across the world.

For generations, the American Legion Auxiliary has proudly distributed poppies to honor those who served while raising support for veterans, active-duty military, and their families.

Come see the American Legion Post 40 Auxiliary Saturday at 1890โ€™s Day and get a poppy of your own! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
