🗓️ NEXT MONDAY (June 1st) we will be starting our FREE summer conditioning sessions. This week’s session will be at SOUTH EFFINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL (PRACTICE/GRASS FIELD) from 6-7:45PM.

⭐️🏈Our outstanding coaching staff is composed of highly dedicated men (some with 30+ years of coaching experience 🤯) who are passionate about the game and committed to expanding competitive youth athletics in our community! The Effingham Generals (a non-profit private organization) strive to provide the best football experience to the youth and their families by helping them develop and improve their fundamentals and skills that will prepare them for life both on and off the field. Need some proof? Come see for yourself! ALL WORKOUTS ARE FREE, AND EVERYONE IS INVITED!! We are locked, loaded, and ready to get these young athletes going!! 🏈⭐️

🔺ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME (8U-12U, ages 7-12)— our scheduling for the season will not interfere with school football programs, so you are able to play BOTH GENERALS & MIDDLE SCHOOL (for eligible 12U players)!! Come get in those extra reps while you can!

🔺Please make sure to follow our organizational page as this is where all of our workout/tryout/etc information will be posted (this will include any cancellations due to weather; if a cancellation post is not made, we are still on! ☔️ — so please keep an eye out for this).

🇺🇸Remember the reason for your “long weekend” while you enjoy your day off tomorrow🇺🇸

We want to take a moment to give thanks and honor to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Because of these brave and selfless men and women, we get to do what we love each and every day. We pray for those who’ve given their lives for our country and for their families who walk each day with this sacrifice. Never forget. Take a moment out this weekend while you are enjoying a 3-day weekend to honor and remember just why this is celebrated. It’s a day of remembrance and appreciation for those who laid their lives for our freedom and our country.

We have to take a moment to give congratulations and love to our former players who will be taking the next step in their lives’ journey — GRADUATION! 👨‍🎓

We have had the privilege of having a lot of special young athletes through our former teams, and now we get to watch them take the next step to the rest of their lives. We’ve had the pleasure of watching these young boys grow into outstanding young men over the years. Not only have they accomplished so much on the field/court/track, they’ve killed it in the classroom, have already started building careers, and are doing things to make a name for themselves. These young men are something to be proud of, and we are blessed to have been a part of their journey.

Fellas, as you take the stage for your high school graduation, soak it all in. Remember that you have so many people behind you to support you no matter what…whether it’s continuing your dreams with football, transitioning to college campuses, or moving into the workforce. Put everything you have into all you do and do it with a sense of pride and respect for yourself. No regrets. Know you will all do big things. We are so very proud of you. We’ll ALWAYS be in your corner. And we love you more than you know.

Summer conditioning is finally almost here!!! Mark your calendars, because the Generals are about to be back in action for EVERYONE!! Starting JUNE 1ST (pushed back due to graduation and Memorial Day), we will be having our conditioning sessions EVERY MONDAY at South Effingham High School from 6-7:45PM. Our coaching staff is locked and ready to get these young athletes going!! ⭐️
