We’re searching for local enthusiasts who are restoring, building, or reviving their jalopy for the car show in July. We’d love to stop by occasionally to capture short video updates and share your progress with our community. Then we’ll reveal your finished ride at the show!

Fans and Friends, we lost one of the greatest! Please come out on Saturday and bring your classic car to show your support.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. A luncheon will follow at The Brickyard Event Center, 1025 South Ammon Road.

To honor Frank’s spirit, guests are encouraged to come in casual dress and wear their favorite race shirt. Those wishing to bring their race cars, hot rods and classics are welcome—race car parking will be available at The Brickyard Event Center, with general parking at Wood Funeral Home across the street.

Normally I don't comment on every post...but while shooting the drags, I have to say that I'm impressed. Can you imagine, normally running an 1/8th or 1/4 mile shot, but now only limited to 100 feet??? I mean, that's just mind blowing the level of discipline and awareness these guys and gals must employ to do these races at our car show. It has to be 100 times more difficult than what they normally do when you only have 100 feet to accelerate and then you only have so much room left to slow down before blowing through the barriers on to a cross street. The natural instinct would obviously be to mash the gas. It is certainly different, seeing this from the business end of the track.
