Speaking with multiple officials, the races have been postponed for two weeks, for the safety of all equine.
This decision was made to ensure we do not bring it here as we personally know of local horses who have been in contact with the virus and we don’t want it shed in any shape or form.
Please know this wasn’t an easy decision and lots of factors were at play, but confident to be back before long.
Again we don’t know how long this will last for or all the factors that will come with but without the equine we have no sport. It’s our priority to ensure they are safe first and foremost.
We understand some may be upset about this inconvenience. We did what was felt right about the situation.

Please be on standby and check here for updates reguarding the recent outbreak. This update will be about it the upcoming races if they are a go or not!

It’s our main concern to not get horses sick or spread this deadly virus. The safety of them will come first.

With the recent outbreak of EHV, it has been spread like a wild fire, including to our own home town. PLEASE DO NOT bring your horses or pony horses to the races if they are even slightly sick. This is deadly and nothing is worth spreading to others or losing your own. If you have recently been hauling it’s highly encourage to sit out for the first race OR until your horses are completely out of the sick zone. If there are any horses that have been brought to the track races WILL be canceled. Remember this is almost a 30 day window to be in the clear and to be quarantined for 30 days. Please be aware of your surroundings, and do not be close to other horses who are not in your own barn. That being said do not use anything that isn’t yours. It’s highly recommended to bring pony horses only within your barn. This is very contagious, and very deadly. Fast. Use proper protocol. Closely monitor. If you suspect your horses are sick please let someone know so this doesn’t happen to us and we are stuck in the same situation.
