Welcome Officer Jaramillo!!

🎓 MEET YOUR NEW SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER! 🚔

The Rifle Police Department is proud to introduce Officer Jaime Jaramillo as our new School Resource Officer!

Officer Jaramillo has dedicated much of his life to service. Before becoming a police officer, he served our country in both the United States Marine Corps and the Army National Guard.

Jaime joined the Rifle Police Department in 2018, bringing that same commitment to service home to the Rifle community. Over the years, he has built valuable experience as a patrol officer and strong connections with the people he serves.

Now, he’s taking on a new mission—supporting our students, staff, and schools. As the SRO, Officer Jaramillo will be much more than a familiar uniform in the hallway. He’ll be there to build relationships, provide a safe and trusted resource for students, and help create a positive environment where our kids can thrive.

We’re excited to see the relationships he builds and the impact he’ll make in this next chapter of his service. 💙

One backpack with school supplies is all it takes to make a positive impact on a child’s school year. Help One Door ensure that all students in Garfield County have wha they need for academic success.

We are asking community members, businesses, organizations, and families to help provide a backpack with for a student in need. All donations can be dropped off at One Door in Rifle.

EACH BACKPACK SHOULD INCLUDE:

🖍️ 1 Package of Crayons
✏️ 1 Package of Pencils
✂️ 1 Pair of Scissors
🧴 1 Bottle of Glue
📏 1 Ruler
