Local 4951 member Ben Crow is off to a new career after 9 1/2 Years with CRFR. Ben was selected as the new Emergency Medical Services Faculty for Colorado Mountain College’s programs from R***e to Aspen.

Ben was hired as a volunteer in 2017 before promoting to Part-time and eventually full-time in 2019 before completing his Paramedic in 2021. Ben was assigned to Station 61 on B Shift and has been passionate about medicine and technical rescue as well as associated committees over the years.

We’re excited for his new role and we’ll miss his shenanigans and Mowgli (Australian Shepherd) around the firehouse all the time.

Ben will remain as a part-time Paramedic Firefighter with the district working shifts a couple times a month.

Best of luck Ben and Congratulations! The future is strong.
