Every two years there is a convention for folks of Trentino descent in the US and Canada. Past convention locations have included Toronto, Canada, Ogden, Utah, and Los Angeles, California. In 2026, the 26th convention will be held in Denver, Colorado.
Usually this information is shared via the Trentino Clubs in the various locations, and by Trentini nel Mondo. Some of the folks here in this group, however, may not belong to a club or have one near them, so we wanted to let them know about the convention.
It's a great opportunity to meet other Trentini. The convention dates are October 8-12, 2026. The registration deadline is April 30th.
The primary contact for the information at this point is Anna Svaldi Vann, of the Colorado club, (See her letter below.) There is also a Pre-Convention Tour, October 4-8, 2026, and a Post-Convention Tour, October 12-17, 2026.
The convention is known by the acronym ITTONA, International Tyrolean Trentini Organization of North America, a legacy name chosen years ago, to describe and create a convention and a planning board to bring clubs together.

"Dear Trentino Members & Friends of ITTONA,
Attached please find the details for our upcoming 2026 ITTONA Convention to be held in Denver, Colorado. 26 in ’26!!! Our last convention in Denver was in 1988. We are so looking forward to hosting you once again in our Mile High City!
We invite you to attend this fun celebration of our Trentino heritage and culture along with experiencing the wonders of our beautiful state. 2026 is our 150th birthday as part of the USA. We are the Centennial State, 1876!
Please read through the packet, fill out your registration form and send it along with your payment by April 30, 2026"
