Last night we had the privilege of welcoming 3 new shootin team members!!

After an initiation course of fire that we call “The Gauntlet” we all gathered up at the barn where we were joined by our families!

Building a tribe is more than just the team members, it’s also those at home who support our passions, and hobbies everyday that we come out here.

Thank you to everyone on the team who show up and put the time, energy and patience into the growing shooting program, and thank you to those at home who support us everyday! I look forward to the next time we welcome new members (it will be July sometime 😜)

We got the team out for some intentional and practical pistol training yesterday!

Low round count, drills with intention, and more importantly…….camaraderie amongst ourselves. The team is growing bigger and stronger each week!

We had a great showing yesterday NRA match!!

We had a top 10 finish, and 3 in the top 20, wit serious efforts put in by each shooter!!!

The match directors and RSOs did a great job on this one and we look forward to the next match.

We were able to have a lot of great conversations about OPFOB and our mission, which is combatting veteran and first responder su***de. Join us in the fight by going to our website and becoming a member and even coming out to see the site at one of our upcoming events.

Great job and thank you to all who showed up to compete and train each week to stay competitive as we progress this team and mission forward 🫡🇺🇸

Jake Riessen did a great job leading our training session yesterday with an IDPA style block of instruction. Coming from both military and LEO sides of the house, formal competition shooting and its rules are still new to most of us. Dedicated sessions to learn, understand and put the into practice has been a major help. Getting better each session is what it’s all about.

Next competition is at on March 1st, come out and compete!!!!

Care to join us one day, come out and shoot with us one Saturday at open range at OPFOB ’s right after our coffee and camaraderie. Starts every Saturday at 0900!!!

Mastering the basics, we bridge the gap with this course between knowing the fundamentals and implementing them to get better.

Come out and learn skills that increase your marksmanship, weapon transitions, positional shooting and shooting while moving. All levels are welcome, whether you’ve been shooting for years and want to brush off the rust, or you are a beginner and want to level up!

SHOT SHOW 2026

As the grows, so does its mission!! And this year we were able to send a couple guys out to to develop new relationships with those who share our passion for the veteran and first responder community, while also continuing to support those who support us each and everyday.

Thank you to each and every person who took time to meet with us and hear us out and even more thanks to those committed to joining forces to help prevent veteran and first responder su***de!!

Rifle Level 1: Hosted right at OPFOB

Description
This Rifle Level One course is for students who are already familiar with Rifle/Carbine platforms and wish to enhance their existing knowledge. In this course, students will:

● Enhance familiarity with the carbine platform
● Build brilliance in the basics of rifle employment and marksmanship fundamentals
● Experience advanced techniques and dynamic shooting drills

The Shootin Team showed and had a great day at the PGC monthly steel match today!

With all shooters there we were able to spread the word of OPFOB, and remain competitive amongst our fellow shooting community members.

As the year closes we thank everyone for their continued support, openness to hearing us out and willingness to help drive the success of our mission, which is to prevent veteran and first responder su***de!!!!
