Today, the OPFOB shooting team welcomed 2 new members, Luke and Andrew!

Luke and Andrew have not only demonstrated fi****ms proficiency, a high competitive nature and overall responsibility as a fi****ms end user…..but they’ve shown overwhelming success here at not only as members of the organization, but contributors to the success of our mission!!

Today was able to host the LCIDPA club for our second monthly IDPA match, and it was another success!!

All shooters who came out to the match were safe and respectfully of not only the culture that the IDPA has set, but to OPFOBs property as well.

We look forward to hosting them again next month and continuing this on the 4th Sunday of each month going forward!!!!

If you’re interested in coming out, come see some of the members on a Saturday morning from 0900-1100 for coffee and camaraderie where an open range session will follow, or DM us for more info!!!

The OPFOB Shootin’ Team practices Tuesdays and Fridays at 1600-We’re done

Tuesdays is fundamentals and skill focused while Fridays we set up some competition stages and breakdown the best ways to approach, shoot and plan for them.

Jake has put in a tremendous amount of work lately with not only putting stages together, but drinking from the firehouse as far as learning the rules of IDPA, USPSA, steel, etc for different disciplines of competition shooting.

Happy to have him out there and taking these tasks head on for us to keep the mission driving forward……OPFOB outreach and provide a space for our community to come heal, regroup, refocus and compete!

Super proud of these guys for showing up and competing the way they did last night and for all the hard work they put in at training!!!

Last night we had the privilege of welcoming 3 new shootin team members!!

After an initiation course of fire that we call “The Gauntlet” we all gathered up at the barn where we were joined by our families!

Building a tribe is more than just the team members, it’s also those at home who support our passions, and hobbies everyday that we come out here.

Thank you to everyone on the team who show up and put the time, energy and patience into the growing shooting program, and thank you to those at home who support us everyday! I look forward to the next time we welcome new members (it will be July sometime 😜)

We got the team out for some intentional and practical pistol training yesterday!

Low round count, drills with intention, and more importantly…….camaraderie amongst ourselves. The team is growing bigger and stronger each week!
