This is the official facebook of the Charles Jones Colcock Camp 2100 that is located in Jasper County, SC.

The citizen-soldiers who fought for the Confederacy personified the best qualities of America. The preservation of liberty and freedom was the motivating factor in the South's decision to fight the Second American Revolution. The tenacity with which Confederate soldiers fought underscored their belief in the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. These attributes are the underpinning of our democr

atic society and represent the foundation on which this nation was built. Today, the Sons of Confederate Veterans is preserving the history and legacy of these heroes so that future generations can understand the motives that animated the Southern Cause. The SCV is the direct heir of the United Confederate Veterans, and the oldest hereditary organization for male descendants of Confederate soldiers. Organized at Richmond, Virginia in 1896, the SCV continues to serve as a historical, patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated to ensuring that a true history of the 1861-1865 period is preserved. Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all male descendants of any veteran who served honorably in the Confederate armed forces.

WE NEEF HELP WITH THE FLAG POLE.AT TULLIFINY . WE TOOK THE FLAG DOWN BEFORE THE HURRICANE AND WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PUT IT BACK UP. BECAUSE THE TOP HAS JAMMED. IF YOU KNOW ANYOME WHO HAD A 50 FOOT LIFT WE COULD USE FOR A HOUR TO FIX IT PLEASE MESSAGE ME.

We took the flag down at the site because of the Hurricane. We are trying to put it back up but the rope is hung up at the top and we can not fix it with out renting a 60 foot man lift which cost $900. If anyone you know has a man lift .We can get cheaper. Please let us know. We only need it for 1 hour

I am sad to announce that we have lost another great member of our SCV Family has passed. Jack Malar has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior. He was a tremendous asset to the SCV and his passing will leave a big hole in our organization. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great Patriot. We will miss you . Deo Vindice
