This is more than protecting a name. It represents protecting the vision, the work, and the purpose behind creating spaces where men can show up, speak up, connect, and heal.

Iā€™m grateful for everyone who has supported Men Engaging in Needed Conversation from the beginningā€”and Iā€™m looking forward to what God has in store for the next chapter.

I'm excited to share that I'll be speaking with the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Diabetes Prevention Program this Saturday!

Life doesn't stop because we're managing a health condition. We still have families to care for, jobs to work, bills to pay, relationships to nurture, and everyday stressors to navigate.

During this session, we'll explore practical stress management tools that can help participants reduce overwhelm, build resilience, and create healthier habitsā€”one small step at a time.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I'm passionate about creating safe spaces where people feel seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools they can use in everyday life.

Because of the generous support of **ChangeX**, our vision for **Red, Free & Full of Me: A Juneteenth Play Day for Kids** became a reality.
What began as a goal to serve **50 children** grew into an incredible day serving **114 children and youth** through learning, play, kindness, and community.
Thanks to this grant, children and families enjoyed:

šŸŒ­ Free food and treats
šŸŽ’ Kindness backpacks
šŸ“š A Juneteenth history presentation
šŸŽ Toys and prizes
šŸ¤ The support of amazing adult and youth volunteers
This event was about more than one day of funā€”it was about creating opportunities for children to learn, connect, and celebrate together.
To **ChangeX**, our volunteers, community partners, vendors, and every family who joined usā€”**thank you** for making this event such a meaningful success.
