Pipefitters UA Local 274 Pipefitters Local 274 has been in existence since July 20, 1901. By providing welders pre-certified, we help to keep a project on time and within the budget.

Local 274 started out in Jersey City, New Jersey and now encompasses the counties of Hudson, Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and parts of Warren. We are one of four United Association Welder Certification facilities for the state of New Jersey. Our welder certification program is recognized by not only the Mechanical Contractors Association but by leaders of the industry. The training facility at

Local 274 is capable of adapting to any type of changing technology, whether medical gas certification, plastic fusion for gas distribution or heating and cooling application. We are prepared to meet any such challenge.
