🖤 BLACK OUT FOR CANCER! 🖤

Ridgefield High School ASB is once again partnering with Pink Lemonade Project to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer!

This October, Spudders will trade pink for black during our Black Out for Cancer games. ASB is selling special “Fight Cancer” t-shirts for $15, with all profits donated directly to the Pink Lemonade Project.

In 2024, our community came together to raise nearly $4,000 for this important cause. This year, we want to beat that total! 💪

🖤 Black Out for Cancer Games:
⚽ Girls Soccer — October 13
🏐 Volleyball — October 13
🏈 Football — October 16

👕 Shirts are $15 each and must be pre-ordered by Sunday, September 13. Shirt pickup will begin October 7 after school at RHS. Shirts can be ordered online here: https://wa-ridgefield-lite.intouchreceipting.com/BlackOutForCancer

🏐 THE SHIRT IS HERE! 🏐

Our 7th & 8th Grade Girls Rec Volleyball League is almost ready to hit the court! 🙌

This is a great opportunity for players to stay active, build skills, compete, and have fun in an in-house recreational league at View Ridge.

✨ SEASON DETAILS
🏐 7th & 8th Grade Girls
📅 September 9–October 7
👕 Season shirt included, 4 practices + 4 games
⏰ Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM
📍 View Ridge Middle School
💲 $80
🏆 Games: Sept. 28, 30 & Oct. 5, 7

TEAM FORMATION:
Players will meet at the gym on Wednesday, September 9 for an informal evaluation. Community Ed staff will do our best to form balanced teams with the goal of evenly dividing 7th & 8th grade players and skill levels. Rosters will be sent September 10, with practices beginning Monday, September 14.

Registration closes September 9 or when the 40-player capacity is reached!

We’re also looking for parent volunteer coaches! Coaches can select up to two players. Interested in coaching? Email [email protected].
